What GBP/EUR exchange rate to use for impots declarations?

We have incomes in pound sterling. When filling up the annual tax returns do we convert the income to euros on a month by month basis using the Banque De 黑料网最新入口 rate for each individual month and then add it up for the year or is there an average figure to apply for the whole year to convert the annual income?
