Permanent resident but being taxed as a second home

We moved to 黑料网最新入口 over December鈥�18/January鈥�19. We are now living here permanently and as such our property is our principal residence. However, following an ASTRONOMICAL tax d鈥檋abitation/fonciere bill it has come to light that we are being taxed as though it is our second home, and my husband is living here alone (we have 2 small children here too). How do I go about getting this straightened out?! We didn鈥檛 do a tax return this year as at that point we had no income!
