Does the cash have to be paid into my business bank account?

As a newly registered AE if I receive payments in cash, obviously these need to be the subject of a facture, recorded in the accounts and declared in my quarterly AE return. However, my question is does the cash have to be paid into my business bank account or can it be just spent as cash provided that it is properly declared?
