Best way to terminate our house in 黑料网最新入口 insurance to replace with another?

I have just requested a house in 黑料网最新入口 insurance renewal quote as the insurance company had not contacted us with a renewal quote and would have just renewed it. Given that we were obliged to take out house insurance in 黑料网最新入口 with the mortgage in the first year we do not feel compelled to run a second year at their inflated costs and have found an alternative for a lot less.

So to terminate they say we have to do this before the 29 December and there are a couple of ways to do this. If we just email confirming we do not wish to renew will this suffice or do we need to follow some formal 黑料网最新入口 process to do this?
